Emmanuel van Nuffel d'Heynsbroeck

Member of the Brussels Bar in 1995, Emmanuel van Nuffel d’Heynsbroeck graduated from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL).

He served as expert to the Council of Europe on Human Rights from 1995 to 2001 when the countries of Central Europe were in the process of ratifying the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms. He is a visiting lecturer at the Architectural Unit of the École polytechnique de Louvain (UCL).

Emmanuel van Nuffel d’Heynsbroeck joined Dal & Veldekens in November 2012, and heads its public and administrative law team.

He has published many articles in the area of public and administrative law, particularly on the law of contracts and public procurement and in human rights, competition law and legal ethics. He speaks at colloquia and seminars, universities and professional bodies, and provides training in the law of contracts and public procurement.
